Additional Information
Product selection decisions in the perioperative environment must balance innovation, safety, cost, and clinical outcomes. This program examines how evidence-based value analysis supports the selection and evaluation of products that can demonstrably reduce SSI risk. Participants will learn how to assess research quality, interpret infection prevention data, and collaborate with value analysis and supply chain leaders to ensure decisions are rooted in evidence and aligned with organizational priorities and AHVAP recommendations. The session will highlight examples of products and technologies that improve patient outcomes through validated reductions in airborne and environmental contamination.
